Clear Aligners in Heath, TX

Set Your Smile Straight

At KB Dental, we understand the impact the alignment of your teeth can have, not just for your appearance and self-esteem, but also for your oral health and well-being! Crooked teeth can really put a damper on your smile and confidence—but straightening them shouldn’t have to! That’s why Dr. Bartz is happy to be a certified Invisalign and CandidPro provider in Heath, Forney & Rockwall, TX and would love to help you straighten your smile quickly and discreetly with Invisalign or CandidPro, depending on your case.

The Choice is Clear
Clear aligner treatment offers a discreet, comfortable way to straighten your smile without traditional braces. We offer both Invisalign® and CandidPro™, two leading clear aligner systems backed by advanced technology and clinical research. Both use a series of custom-made, virtually invisible aligners designed to gradually move your teeth into their ideal positions. Your dentist will evaluate your smile and recommend the treatment option that best fits your individual needs and goals.

The Clear Aligner Process
The clear aligner process starts with a consultation with Dr. Bartz to determine if you are a candidate. If given the go ahead, we can get started on your treatment right away with digital scans of your teeth. Dr. Bartz will recommend Invisalign or CandidPro based on your case, and we will send your digital scans to the selected provider to have your custom aligners created. When you return, you will be given a few sets of aligners to get started on your new smile! We’ll show you how to put them in and remove them—it can be difficult at first, but a little bit of pressure should do the trick! Your aligners are flexible and your teeth are strong, so less delicacy is needed than most suspect at first. We’ll answer any of your questions and outline your treatment plan, so you know exactly what to expect.
Life with Clear Aligners
One of the best things about Invisalign and CandidPro is that the aligners are removable, so they don’t have to get in the way of your life like traditional braces do! You can continue to enjoy your favorite foods, stay active in all your favorite sports and activities, and maintain your thorough oral hygiene routine. You’ll have fewer emergency visits than you would with braces, without the pain of broken brackets and wires. The aligners are durable, flexible, and virtually invisible so no one will even notice you’re wearing them! You should wear your aligners no less than 20 hours per day—take them out only to eat, brush, and floss. Always remember to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in! You will switch to your next set of aligners either weekly or every two weeks depending on your individual treatment plan, and you will come in to see us for check-ups every few weeks to track your progress and get your next sets of aligners.

Clear aligners can now treat more complex cases than ever before! Clear aligners are the ideal teeth straightening solution for both adults and teens, and can help with cases including overbite, underbite, crossbite, gapped teeth, open bite, and crowding.Clear aligners can treat most of the same alignment issues traditional braces can, without the mouth full of metal! However, there are some exceptions, including if you require significant alteration to your bite or movement along the vertical axis. The only way to know if you are a candidate for sure is to come see Dr. Bartz for a consultation.
